Blackfoot from Jacksonville Florida celebrate Forty Years in the hardest business in the world in 2009. We wish them well and salute their tenacity and  determination to reach this great musical landmark despite the sad loss of their drummer and songwriter Jackson “Thunderfoot” Spires in 2005.

Blackfoot have a much heavier sound with more of a metallic edge than most of their southern counterparts. 

‘Highway Song’ is a Classic Rock Song & Album that displays all the musical ingredients that made the band one of the hottest rock acts in the 70’s & 80’s.
