Blue Oyster Cult

Blue Oyster Cult formed in New York in 1970 were almost an American equivalent to Black Sabbath with a strong Heavy Metal sound with some lighter semi melodic offerings like “Last Days of May” which made BOC more palatable for radio plays. 

Their classic albums are ‘Secret Treaties’, ‘On Your Feet or On Your Knees’ and ‘Agents of Fortune’ in 1976 which featured Patti Smith. One of the first bands to use Lasers ‘in concert’ to enhance their live act. Guitarists Eric Bloom and Buck Dharma remain from the original lineup and still continue to ‘Rock On’ with BOC.
