Budgie

Budgie are still rockin’ after all these years, even if they had gone the way of all flesh their music and their great album covers will not be forgotten. They will always be one of the most influential British Power Rock Trios to emerge in the early 1970’s.

Formed in Cardiff, Wales in the late 1960’s, they were to crossover into heavy metal territory and offered a credible alternative to the likes of Led Zeppelin & Deep Purple with the high pitched vocals of bass player Burke Shelley.

Classic tracks include ‘Breadfan’, a great version of ‘Baby Please Don’t Go’ and the ethereal ‘Parents’. Budgie are not just for rock connoisseurs, they offer great music for the masses too.
