Georgia Satellites

The Georgia Satellites are one of the best Southern Rock Bands from the 1980’s and produced some of the heaviest Southern Rocking sounds in this decade.

They had a huge hit in the U.S. in 1987 with ‘Keep Your Hands To Yourself’ and their revival of the old Swinging Blue Jeans’ song Hippy Hippy Shake was also a hit song for the band, due to its inclusion in the movie ‘Cocktail’. Dan Baird (vocals & guitar) was the main driving force behind the band in the earlier days but now fronts his own band. The Georgia Satellites are still one of the hardest rockin’ bands to come out of Atlanta.
