Johnny Winter

      

Johnny Winter is one of the greatest Rock and Blues guitarists of all time who is much admired by musicians worldwide for his guitar playing prowess and raw blues style. This Texan albino guitarist, known as “The Guitar Slinger” has recorded more than forty albums since 1968 when he formed his first blues/rock trio with Tommy Shannon on bass & Uncle John Turner on Drums.

 

His output and passion for live performance with his love of the blues have helped him regain his health after periods of illness. He’s played at Woodstock which demonstrated his great technique and total mastery of the electric guitar.
