Neil Young

Neil Young is equally at home on acoustic or electric guitar, having been part of Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and also performing with his own backing band Crazy Horse. Neil Young a Canadian from Toronto was drawn to the West Coast of the USA in 1966 as were so many young aspiring musicians who wanted to be part of the musical revolution. Having met up with Stephen Stills and Ritchie Furay they formed the Psychedelic folk rock orientated Buffalo Springfield.

After the demise of the group Buffalo Springfield, Young formed his own band Crazy Horse which was to become a vehicle for his own self penned material.

A prolific song writer, performer and guitarist Neil Young is certainly one of ‘the greats’ who has survived all the fads and changes of popular music. Classic Songs ‘Heart of Gold’, ‘Hey Hey My My’ and ‘Keep On Rockin In The Free World’.
