Cream "Clapton is God " Eric, Jack & Ginger the original "Powerhouse Trio" Creedence Clearwater Revival John Fogerty reinvented "swampabilly" Deep Purple "DP in Rock" & Made in Japan, made them "The Monsters of Rock". Dio ‘The Last In Line’ of the great heavy metal merchants with lungs of steel and a ‘Sacred Heart’. Dire Straits A financial term for those without, until this band discovered it was ‘Money for Nothing’. Doc Holliday One of Southern Rocks finest outfits. Doc Holiday are still out there on the trail. Electric Prunes Psychedelic Rockers who left their mark down the ‘time coast’ with two classic songs in ’66 & ’67. Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush The one man guitar army’ blows everyone away. Free The "Kos" & Paul "The Voice" Rodgers... "awesome rocking & riffing". Georgia Satellites Heavy duty Southern Rockers with a monster drum sound. ‘Keep The Faith’ they will return. Govt Mule A Jam band with soul, thanks to Warren Haynes this band has something unique within its own melting pot. Grateful Dead The biggest sound system and Guru Gerry Garcia at the helm. Hot Tuna The Airplane "Splinter Group" with the telepathic Jorma and Jack. Jefferson Airplane Kings of West Coast Psychedelia with Grace Slick. Jefferson Starship The Starships’ musical orbit had gone full circle until they discovered ‘Freedom At Point Zero’. Jeff Healey Iconic guitarist who used his talent to show us all what could be achieved against all the odds. Johnny Winter ‘The Guitar Slinger’ rocks & he rolls, but it is truly his passion for the blues that moves his soul. Led Zeppelin From The New Yardbirds to Led Zep they became Rock Gods in the 1970’s. Little Feat Lowell ’s gone but the band play on. I’ll Be Your Dixie Chicken with just a small helping of Southern Fries. Love One of the most feted and lauded LA bands fronted by rock genius Arthur Lee. Lynyrd Skynyrd This band shows no sign of slowing down. "If I leave here... Moby Grape Early San Franciscan outfit with an edge courtesy of Skip Spence. Molly Hatchet "The Totally Awesome Molly Hatchet" this says it all. Mountain Leslie West took the Mountain to Mohammed and triggered a rock & roll avalanche. Neil Young Rust Never Sleeps that’s why he can never stop Rocking In The Free World. Pink Floyd The Floyd are almost a musical institution, but let’s not forget Syd, ‘The Madcap’ still laughs from a far. Quicksilver Messenger Service Happy Trails will never be forgotten. Robin Trower Robin was brilliant, Bill... rock solid, James Dewar... awesome! Rose Tattoo If you see Angry Anderson buy him a beer and tell him what a great a great ‘throat’ he has. Rory Gallagher & Taste It always was "chill factor ten" guitar from Rory. Santana From ‘Soul Sacrifice’ to ‘Black Magic Woman’ Carlos perfected his Latin rock extravaganza. Southern Rock Allstars A Southern Rock Musical Co-operative Society, which really does rock. Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble SRV & DT much loved and missed. Steppenwolf "Heavy Metal Thunder" from Sparrow to the Wolf. Bikers love 'em. Ten Years After Still rockin' without Alvin Lee "the fastest guitar in the west". The
Allman Brothers Band Still
Rockin' we love ya Dickey Betts! The Doors Jim Morrison was the front man, "The King of Orgasmic Rock". The Jimmy Hendrix Experience Mr Hendrix the most important figure in rock. The Outlaws "The guitar Army" still "rock on" without Hughie Thomason RIP. The Rolling Stones Confounded their critics with their longevity, stamina and determination to rock till they drop. The Who Why "look under tables" when you've got Mr Townsend On guitar. Thin Lizzy It's not been the same since Phil "checked out"...he's still The Rocker. Titanic This band can’t be stopped, raised from the depths to rock again, from ‘Ashes to Diamonds’. Walter Trout & The Radicals Walter Trout is simply outstanding! Yardbirds R & B went psychedelic in the mid sixties thanks to Jeff Beck. ZZ
