Robin Trower

Robin Trower created some of the finest Blues/Rock music in the 1970’s, heavily influenced Jimi Hendrix this band were to become a great commercial success with million selling albums. Robin Trower the guitarist who had been in Procul Harum in the 1960’s was to form the Robin Trower Band in 1973 with Reg Isidore on drums and James Dewar on bass and vocals.

In 1974 they were to record the famous Bridge of Sighs album, followed by For Earth Below and Long Misty Days which became big sellers in the U.S.

The distinctive voice of James Dewar was almost as much part of the bands sound as Trower’s guitar, so the overall sound of the trio was never quite the same when he left. James Dewar died in 2002, he was one of the best British rock vocalists of his day, we do miss him and those Long Misty Days.
