Southern Rock Allstars

Southern Rock Allstars are a band made up of former members of some of the greatest Southern Rock Bands and who perform some of the most well known songs from this genre. The most notable former members are Blackfoot drummer Jackson Spires and guitarist Duane Roland ex Molly Hatchet who are now deceased. Jimmy Farrar who was also the lead vocalist for Molly Hatchet now fronts The Allstars.

With Jay Johnson ex Collins Rossington Band on Lead Guitar they could best be described as a working musical co-operative who perform re workings of Southern Rock Classics with a mixture of complementary original material. They have released three CD’s, the most recent is ‘Troubles Comin’ a live album which features classic tracks by Blackfoot, Skynyrd & Molly Hatchet. SRA really do rock! Hell Yeah ! Check ‘em out.
