Ten Years After |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Ten Years After were one of the earliest British Psychedelic Blues Rock outfits to make a name for themselves on the American West Coast in the late 1960’s. Constant tours and concerts made this band a spectacular live act, featuring the mesmerizing guitar skills of Alvin Lee who was a high speed guitar ace who could also lapse into jazz improvisation when the mood took him. TYA still perform today without Alvin Lee, but in their heyday which was the late 1960’s and 70’s they were a ‘tour de force’ without many equals when it came to live performance. |

Their appearance at Woodstock in 1969 was a stunning, high octane, mind blowing, adrenalin driven classic rock & roll performance. The Classic TYA Album is Cricklewood Green from 1970 which contained some of their greatest compositions ‘Love Like A Man’ and ‘Sugar The Road’ were two of the best from the album. Also other classic songs from TYA are ‘One Of These Days’ and ‘I’d Love To Change The World’. |
