Titanic

Titanic are a Classic Rock band from Scandinavia who achieved commercial success on mainland Europe in the early to mid 1970’s. They came to prominence in the U.K. with their hit single ‘Sultana’ which was a top ten entry in 1971. Fronted by Englishman Roy Robinson their lead vocalist with a distinctive guttural tone backed with a strong guitar, organ sound they made a name for themselves as a live band throughout the 1970’s. Titanic recorded albums ‘Sea Wolf’ and ‘Ballad of a Rock ‘n’ Roll Loser’ which were both successful sellers in Europe.

Titanic disbanded in 1984 but have just recently reformed with two original members and with the addition of a great sax player their sound is sharper than ever. We wish them well with their latest CD album release Ashes & Diamonds. Classic songs include ‘Sultana’, ‘Underbird’, ‘I See No Reason’ and ‘I Am The Law’.
