The Yardbirds

The Yardbirds were one of the most influential British Psychedelic R&B bands of the 1960’s, they were the pioneers of early Psychedelic Pop Singles in the U.K. With so many great guitarists including Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck they became a ‘musician’s band’ who were able to write songs of their time and perform them to great effect. 

Jeff Beck was one of greatest electric rock guitar innovators of his day, whose early work with The Yardbirds is acknowledged by his peers and rock historians alike as being the catalyst for others who were to follow. Keith Relf the Vocalist & Harp Player for the band died in 1976 after being electrocuted at home rehearsing with his guitar. Classics songs include ‘Shapes of Things',' Happenings Ten Years Time Ago’ and, ‘Train Kept A Rollin’.
